How do I earn points?

There are several ways to earn points. You can log your reading, enter codes from events (adults) and scavenger hunts (youth), and complete challenges (both). 

How do points work?

Every 60 points you earn equals one chance in our prize drawings. One hour of reading = 60 points. One challenge completed, event attended, or scavenger hunt answer entered = 60 points. 

What are the prizes?

Adults earn chances for weekly drawings of gift cards, and also for end of summer prize baskets (3).

Teens age 14-18 earn chances for weekly drawings of gift cards (2 per week).

Kids age 0-13 earn chances for end of summer prize baskets (24).

What if I don't win a prize?

Everyone who participates receives something. Youth participants receive a free book of their choice upon registering along with coupons and goodies. Adults will pick up a registration kit of small tokens to kick off their reading journey. There are thousands of participants each year, so what matters most is that you participated, you read, and you challenged yourself.
